Dance Workshops for Schools, Colleges, Universities and SEND

For over 15 years, we’ve been inspiring joy, well-being, and cultural appreciation through our fun Bollywood-Bhangra and Indian festival-themed dance workshops. We deliver Indian festival-themed dance workshops by delivering interactive and educational sessions to schools, colleges, universities, academies, and trusts across England, Wales, and Scotland. All our instructors are fully trained, highly experienced, and passionate about what they do – each holding an up-to-date DBS check. We also have up to date public labiality insurance policy and professional indemnity for dance professionals.

Our visits can be organised during any of the following RE/PE  and extracurricular topics:

During our full-day visits to schools, students and staff enjoy an immersive experience where they learn 3 to 4 dynamic dance routines. Each session includes a fun and interactive introduction to traditional Indian dance styles and cultural festivals.

We work around to work around your school’s schedule and can tailor the timetable based on the total or selected number of participating classes/year groups. We can close the day on a high note with a vibrant outdoor finale performance to highlight the energy and achievements of the day, where parents are welcome to watch and even join in the celebration!

As an exciting optional addition, we also offer a Holi Colour Festival or Colour Run experience during the finale, where students and staff can safely throw dry powder paints to celebrate with joy and colour.

Dance Workshops for Primary and Secondary Schools

We support a wide range of needs, including learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dysgraphia, developmental disorders like autism, and physical or sensory impairments. This includes support for severe learning difficulties, speech, language, and communication needs, as well as emotional, visual, and physical challenges.

We use the similar format and themes as the mainstream schools incorporating the immersive experience for students using a wheelchair and those not using a wheelchair along with all staff members. With the flexibility of tailoring the workshops as per your needs, we promote and develop wheelchair dancing as a sport and leisure activity within special needs schools and academies.

Kalpesh believes everyone deserves the chance to dance, have fun, and be free—regardless of age or ability. He has developed his teaching practice to support participants with physical or learning disabilities, recognising that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to enjoy dance, movement, and sport, whether they are able-bodied, disabled, or need an alternative to mainstream settings.

In 2015, Kalpesh achieved his Level 2 Wheelchair Dance Sports Instructor with UK National Wheelchair Dance Sports Association (WDSA). WDSA (UK) is the national governing body for wheelchair dance sport, recognized by the IPC and British Paralympic Association as a sport.

Whether in a power chair, manual chair, or with limited mobility, each participant contributes in their own way, and every movement counts.

Dance Workshops for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At KzDance, we work closely with colleges and universities to bring dance, cultural experiences, and well-being activities directly to students. We’ve partnered with student unions, cultural societies, dance, drama and music societies, cultural centres, global lounges, and other departments to create engaging programs that promote creativity, cultural appreciation, and community spirit.

Whether you want to enhance student well-being, celebrate cultural diversity, or provide unique performance opportunities, we can tailor the timing, structure, and content to meet your needs.

Get in touch and let us know how you’d like to bring movement, music, and cultural experiences to your campus, helping students connect, learn, and thrive.
