On Monday all the Heatherton girls, from Reception to Year 6, were treated to a Bollywood Dance Day, led by Kalpesh Zalavadiya of K’Z Dance Entertainment. This wonderful experience helped enrich their knowledge of Indian Dancing and their understanding of Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Light.

The girls were treated to a variety of Indian dance styles energetically put together by Kalpesh, and they experienced just how much hard work was needed to learn and practice their dance so they could all perform it together at the end of the day. A really fun and active time was had by all – staff and pupils alike!
