Buckingham Park Primary School welcomed Kalpesh Zalavadiya, the artistic director of K’z Dance Entertainment on November 12, to teach the year three classes some Bollywood dancing to celebrate Diwali.

During the last week before half-term we welcomed KZ Dance Company to our school, so that children could experience a Bollywood style dance workshop. The weather was very kind as we socially distanced in the playground and it was an absolute delight to see the excited faces and awe and wonder return as children experienced something new.

Lyndhurst School was fully alive when we were visited by Kalpesh from K’zDance for a workshop on Bollywood dance and the Hindu Holi Festival.

Everyone knows how important exercise is, but students at one Suffolk school had their hearts pumping in a slightly different way to usual.
